Beit Scholar Tafadzwa Muchanyangi is currently working on a project that is focused on understanding Stakeholders Climate Literacy and how their shared knowledge can be used to better conserve Rock Art Sites in Matobo World Heritage Site. Tafadzwa reports that there has been no study focusing on Heritage Adaptation towards Climate Change, hence this will be initially a large study that presents new opportunities for wider research. He has recently conducted fieldwork, mapping different Stakeholders who are interested or interact with the Rock Art Sites on a regular basis followed by another month-long field survey conducting interviews with identified participants and thereafter, group discussions with the Communities to capture their opinions.

Tafadzwa also works as a Social Safeguards Consultant for the World Bank on a pilot project assessing Zimbabwe’s Environmental and Social Safeguards Policies against those of the World Bank. This project aims at evaluating the gaps that exist within Zimbabwean Laws governing Environmental and Social Impact Assessments and upraise them to the required World Bank Standards for best practice. He is currently doing Stakeholders Consultations followed by drafting the final report which will be published sometime later in 2025.
